About Us
After several years of fruitless essay searching, it became apparent that they are hardly any places to put Christian essays on the internet so that everyone can access them. Many Bible groups are either being neglected or victimized by different religious groups to hinder there progress to advance their own. Several sites claiming that certain groups were cults and therefore, not even worth a description. Jehovah Witnesses, C of E, Catholicism, Mormonism, Seventh Day Adventists and many others have been labelled as cults and the essays of their followers discarded. Our policy is that the opinion on whether a group is a cult or not cannot be left in the hands of someone who is either atheist, Christian, Muslim or Jew, but rather it must be left in the hands of the individual. For this reason, fruit pickings came in to existence.
The chief proponent of this group began with C.S Samson, who is currently writing a book on a 'Comprehensive Guide to Religious Beliefs'. It is likely that this book will remain in development until next year, as this book tries to get views of those who have been or, are part of the ministries they talk about. We strive to publish essays by giving Christians the chance to submit a essay on their faith. We encourage Christians to write essays on their faith, or anything that they feel passionate about and to email us via the contact page.
The most spectacular essays will be nominated and appear on the News page. Main essay submissions - which are about describing your faith - are worth a whopping 10 points, while minor essay submissions, 2 points. Once 10 points are received, you get your very own BGP nametag (see Rules). Happy essay writing!
"Whether a group is a cult or not cannot be left in the hands of someone who is either atheist, Christian, Muslim or Jew, but rather it must be left in the hands of the individual..."

BGP: " We accuse no Christian group of being a cult and therefore accept all Christian essays. "
How does BGP work?
We work through volunteer writers who would like to join this project and write about an aspect of their faith or alternatively, write a minor essay on a poem, life story or some other literature. This essay is submitted to us at editor2009@live.co.uk where we will upload it to our site. We have additional features of BGP where we may also allow you to upload your images to our site and also a verses mode where with your approval, we ask you questions about the faith and your answers appear in your essays. This helps us to understand your faith more easily as well as all our users. Any critical content may be challenged to prevent vandalism. If they are any issues with any of our essays we ask that you contact us so that we can make amendments.
What does BGP belong to?
BGP is currently maintained by webnode, but branches from Fruit Ministries. Fruit Ministires is the main branch from which all our sites branch out from. For example: We are hoping that Bible Group Pickings may branch out to Quran Group Pickings and other “[Sacred texts] Group Pickings”, but this possibility is reliant on BGP’s success and how many people (like you) would be willing to write a essay on their faith (views) and submit it to us.

History of project
The project started off several years (2006) ago when it was decided that something needed to be done about the lack of information about different religions. We started off with a e-book, then a group and finally a website.
Our users
Our users are friendly, creative, bible interested people, who are interested in different Christian faiths and in publishing their own views about their faith - or a different one, so everyone can read their views.
